Funding
Currently we receive operational funding assistance from the Community Services Programme (CSP) administered by Pobal on behalf of the Department of Community Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
This transport service to people with disabilities and people with mobility started in February 2002 with the support of the FAS Social Economy programme that in turn was handed over to Pobal Community Services Programme on the 1st January 2006
The assistance we receive is principally in the form of a wages grant towards the employment of office staff and drivers whose wages are topped up by ACTSLtd.
We are highly dependant on this annual CSP grant allocation to meet our running costs and on the contribution fares received from our members who book and use the service.
Capital Funding
To buy new buses or to expand our fleet, we have sought assistance with Capital Funding from various sources since we began in February 2002
We wish to acknowledge the assistance of our main funders:
- Dormant Accounts Fund
- Disability Unit of Department of Justice
- People in Need Trust
- Rapid Programme Loughlinstown / Shanganagh CT
We are currently awaiting delivery of a new Renault Master MWB thanks to Grant Assistance from People in Need Trust.
However, we are concerned with our aging fleet and need to secure funding assistance to buy more new buses in late 2009.
Our experience of 2007 and 2008 tells us that mechanical repairs to older buses have been very high and put enormous strain on our day to day finances.
We are currently seeking assistance from various Funding Groups such as those named above but we would welcome any other possible help.

- Sponsorship for Dublin Mini Marathon (sponsorship cards and T shirts available)
- Or any other sponsored runs / walks / events
